MS SQL On-Prem Connection
Hi,
New to the discussion board and to building Copilot agents. I've setup SQL Graph Connector, Entra Enterprise Application, and the 365 Search & Intelligence SQL Data source. In testing this, I have a on-prem SQL DB with a single table and 114 columns.
For my Search & Intelligence SQL data source, I wrote a simple query to select all data from this single table for 10 of the 114 columns. I set the watermark, content property, title, schema, etc. Created the agent and I'm facing and a few issues.
When asking Copilot to return data results based on what I know as in the database, its unable to do so unless I ask for a specific record. For example, the database has Machine Number, Author, Date, Line Length, etc. If I ask it to: "Show me all machines that have a line length of 1 inch." it unable to find any records. But if I ask it: "Show me all records with Machine Number 1234" it provides all those records and also includes the other searchable columns and data. It seems to only return records if I specify the record or a value in it. Do I need to setup something else to get Copilot to return results without calling out specific record set details?
I've been unable to add more than 30 columns in my query for a single connector. If I add more, the wizard hangs and then returns the same page to create the data source versus proceeding to the next page where it's published. I'm working around this by braking out the queries into 5 separate connectors. Anyone else having this issue or am I missing something in my setup, that's causing this issue?
I've setup Verticals and added all 5 connectors to it in hopes that would help build better results, but I'm not fully understanding what the Verticals are doing. Any insight on this would be appreciated.
Thank you for any guidance/support!
