Is Copilot Notebook Replacing OneNote? What I Tell Concerned Users

Copilot Notebook and OneNote both use the word notebook, so it is easy to assume that one is replacing the other.

That is not what is happening.

OneNote remains a useful place to capture notes, organize information, and develop content over time.
Copilot Notebook serves a different purpose. It brings selected sources together so Copilot can help you work toward a specific project, topic, or outcome.

You may use both tools within the same workflow. However, there are also times when Copilot Chat or SharePoint may be all you need.
