Created agents are shown twice in "Shared with you"

Hi all

I've noticed for myself, and for several of our users, that when agents are created in Copilot Studio, and shared. Each agent is shown twice, when people access their "Shared with you" in Copilot.

Why is that, and does anybody else experience this?

  • Several users see each Copilot Studio agent twice under Shared with you after sharing. Microsoft’s documentation describes a shared agent appearing for viewers and does not identify duplicates as expected. First rule out two agents with the same display name: compare each card’s agent identifier, environment, owner, and published channel. Check whether recipients receive access both directly and through a security group. Multiple permission paths can explain access, but should not produce two cards for one identifier. Test an affected user in a private browser session and the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, then remove one redundant sharing assignment, wait for permissions to refresh, and recheck. Do not recreate the production agent. If both cards have the same identifier, capture both card URLs, tenant and environment IDs, affected users, sharing paths, and UTC time, then send Copilot feedback and open Microsoft support. That evidence identifies a catalog-display defect, not duplicate deployment.
