Copilot Notebook features missing
I think it was back in March or April that improved features for Notebooks in Copilot were added as General Availability: the Audio overview, Mind Map and others. I have Copilot Premium, can and have created a notebook, but those features are greyed out for me. I'm pretty sure I have enough content (3 files with approximately 500 pages of content) in the Notebook but when I click those buttons, I see a message:

Those features are in OneNote, but not in Copilot. What's wrong, and what can I do to get them working in Copilot Notebooks?

Your Premium subscription permits Copilot Notebooks, but Mind Map and other creation buttons are disabled. Microsoft’s licensing FAQ explicitly says Personal, Family, and Premium plans omit some features, including Mind maps. Microsoft also documents Mind maps as exclusive to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat licensed users, so adding more source pages will not unlock it. Audio Overview is different: it is a documented notebook capability, but currently supports only English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Chinese. Set the Copilot interface and notebook content to a supported language, create a small test notebook with one supported file, and retry Audio Overview in both Copilot and OneNote. If it remains disabled, submit feedback with the plan and screenshot. For Mind Map, continue using any working OneNote experience or move to an eligible work or Copilot Chat license; there is no user setting that enables it for Premium.
