Notification whe new sign in detected
I am not sure if this is the correct board.
Hello,
Is there a way to send notification to the user and/or their manager a notification when the user's account was used to login to any of the microsoft services from a new device or location?
this is available on our public or general use Gmail and other system.
Office 365 or Exchange or Azure AD or...
Thanks!

- Andrew265Copper ContributorWe need this for Azure AD sign ins, fairly common feature of other systems like the gmail and bank portals etc
- No, no such functionality. You can use Alert policies/Defender for Cloud Apps alerts on any new login, but you cannot limit it to "new" devices/locations only. AAD Identity protection can fire up Risky alerts when a suspicious login is detected, but that again does not cover all "new" ones.
In most cases you should be able to address such concerns with a Conditional access policy/trusted network locations/MFA&device requirements combo.- rjackBrass Contributorthanks for your response. but i want the notification to be sent to the user who tried to login, not to an admin. With the alert policy, i assume we can only set it to a specific user or a group. is this correct?
