Wiping & PWreset with Android phones that are personally owned and have a work profile // Intune
Hello,
I'm doing a project on Intune where I'm writing a script that automates several functions like locking/wiping an Android phone that is managed via Intune. So far I have access to a test environment and a test device. The device is managed via Intune, as personally owned with a work profile. I did some testing on the device and ran into some issues. One of them was, every time I triggered the password reset, it ended up with the following error message:
I even created a new password policy because I thought this was the problem, but it didn't help either.
Has someone a clue why this is not working?
Thanks a lot in advance!

In my case it should fall under the category:
Android enterprise devices enrolled with a work profile and running version 8.0 and later
which should be supported. I mean I'm trying to reset the work profile password and not the device level password.Hi, thats pretty odd indeed as it should be working . Looks like you are not alone
Intune MDM Useless when it comes to reset PIN after enrollment. : Intune (reddit.com)
