Syncing Outlook contacts on Android to native Contacts app

i had the same issues an was able to solve it with the following configuration:
In my case two policies were needed:
1) App Protection Policy - Tell that you are allowed to sync contacts to native apps
- Intune Admin Center - Apps - App Protection Policies (Anroid & iOS)
- Open existieren Policy or create a new one
- Configure ""Data Protection" - "Sync policy managed app data with native apps" to "Allow"
2) App Configuration - Tell what you want to sync
App Configuration Policy for Pubic Apps "Microsoft Outlook" Android & iOs
- Settings Catalog - Save contacts to Yes - Allow user to change Settings: yes
- Choose "Sync contact fields to native contact app configuration"
Last step is that user activate the sync in Outlook on their smartphones and allow Access to the contacts.
