Visio : Embed a visio that contains pmany pages into visio
AnthonyLP. I hope your weekend is amazing, but you want to combine them into a single big diagram. When you tried pasting the second diagram into the first one, you lost the links you added on the shapes, like hyperlinks and data links. Unfortunately, when you paste a diagram into another one, it doesn't automatically keep those links. But don't worry, there are other ways to achieve your goal.
Manual Hyperlinks: You can recreate the links manually in the new combined diagram. Just click on the shapes you want to link and add the web addresses or page references.
Containers: Consider using Visio containers. They act like frames that group related shapes together. By organizing shapes into containers, you can manage them better across pages.
Master Shapes: Try using master shapes in Visio. They're like reusable templates for shapes. By creating master shapes with the links, you need, you can apply them consistently throughout the diagrams.
Export and Import: If the second diagram doesn't need to interact with the first one, you can export each page as separate files. Then, in the first Visio diagram, import those pages one by one.
Combining diagrams while keeping links can be tricky, so take your time and experiment with smaller sections first. And always make backups of your original diagrams in case anything goes wrong. Let me know if you have any other questions.
