User added to meeting acceptance

I have an associate. Whenever I invite them to a meeting through a calendar request in outlook, when they accept, another one of their email accounts is added to the optional attendees line. He does not know how this is happening. We need to stop it as the other account belongs to work he does with a competitor of mine. Any guidance on what he could have configured at his end please?
