UPN in Azure
Question… If we edit the default user UPN from john.wayne to john.wayne.hr and the user logon name (pre windows) stays as john.wayne Which one will be synched to Azure using AAD connect, john...
John.Wayne.HR will sync with the UPN field, as it IS the UPN.
John.Wayne is the SamAccountName, and not the UPN.

Has Daniel said, is the UPN that is synced, you can view all objects that are synced here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/connect/active-directory-aadconnectsync-attributes-synchronized
