temporarily block a user's mailbox
Hello everyone, Is there a way to temporarily block a user's mailbox without blocking his account? I use M365 business Premium in combination with AD.

Block it how exactly? Do you want to prevent him from accessing existing items in the mailbox? Or limit sending/receiving messages?

Rather limiting (or completely blocking) sending and receiving.
This in a way that he can still log in and read existing emails. Also log in to his AD account.
- VasilMichevNov 04, 2023MVPThe best way to restrict sending/receiving is via a mail flow rule. You can also play with the -MaxSendSize/-MaxReceiveSize parameters, but mail flow rules give you a lot more flexibility, so they would be my preferred solution.
