Taken over MS365 tenant, failed payment stuck

 Check Billing > Bills & payments for an outstanding invoice, then use Pay now or Pay your balance and select the new payment method. If no invoice or Reactivate option exists, the purchase did not provision correctly and cannot be retried from Your products, so a Global Administrator or Billing Administrator must open a Microsoft billing support request to clear the failed order. The displayed renewal date does not confirm that the subscription is active; verify the Subscription status before assigning licenses.
