Shared calendar room reservation moderation

Hi all!

I wanted to set the conference rooms in my organisation to do not accept the request before the moderator accepts it. It worked. But if user1 adds an event, and the moderator declines it, the event stays in the calendar, got a tiny-tiny label of "declined", but apart from that the users won't get any response about their events being accepted or declined.

Is there any way to send an automatic mail to user1 about the event, and if the moderator declines it then delete it from the calendar? (its a shared calander)

  • Well, when the delegate approves/declines the request, he's given the option to send a notification. If he selects the corresponding option, an email will be sent to both the organizer and the room and their Calendars will be updated correspondingly.

    Blame the delegate :)

The delegate (me as tester) can choose any option. The event creator will not receive notification, the event stays i n the calendar, just get a tiny "denied" label.
