Server Resources

Hi Community,

 

I just noticed that resources available are now enforced within Office 365.  I'm quite sure that even thoguh I saw a red bar in the Site Collection management section in the Admin Center, I would still be able to create new site collections.

Did I miss anything or is this something that has recently changed?

    Mmm...not sure if I follow you...this morning I have deployed a Site Collection by code specifying 0 as resources quota value and everything was fine. By the way, reading your post:
    (1) I think there is no way to buy more resources for your tenant...AFAIK you can only buy additional storage. Of course you will get extra resources if you add new licences to your tenant
    (2) What you can do is redistribute the resource quota in your site collections...for instance, assign 200 resource points to each site collection
