Send from other email address / Send using

I'm trying to add a email address which I have send as permission on.

When trying to add the email address in the From box, I get these options.

The problem is the Send Using option, when I select my main account and try to send a email, I get an undeliverable mail. The reason here is that I only have send as permissions and not send on behalf permissions.

This message could not be sent. You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user.

I don't want to add the other mailbox as an account in my Outlook application as this is a personal pc and only want to send mails from that address.

How can I add the email address as a "send as" address and not as a "send on behalf" address?

kr,

Gianni

  • You don't need to change anything under the Send Using dropdown. This only plays role in specific scenarios. In the generic "send AS" scenario, all you need to do is make sure you select the address directly from the address book (well and of course verify permissions are correctly granted).
