Microsoft has officially clarified that existing Microsoft 365 Family subscribers will remain on the legacy 1 TB per person model until their next renewal after 2-May-2027. Even if you redeem multiple years of prepaid Family subscriptions before that date, the shared-storage entitlement (2 TB pooled across the family) will only apply at the first renewal following the transition date but not earlier.
