Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it
I have started to get this error when sending emails from my Hotmail account on Outlook since this morning although there were no issues up to yesterday evening. Similar is happening with another computer also which I just setup for Outlook with Hotmail account.
Appreciate if someone can provide any help here.
Anand_Dua same here since this morning... all emails rejected.
it does work fine when sending from outlook website. just not the app.
any help appreciated.

gilou- I have just noticed the same issue that you have mentioned from about a couple of hours ago - does anyone have any answers/help, please

I have the same problem. Just spent all morning trying to fix it. Emails are sending fine from iPhone and website email but not through Windows 10 app. Keep getting the emails returned with the same message : “Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.“

Hey, have you seen/heard of any solutions to this absolute debacle yet? I looked through, and I have not found anything yet.
Yet another complete and UTTER screw-up by Microsoft if I may chime in.

I have the same issue - can send emails through outlook.com in a browser but immediately bounces back when trying to send via the Windows 10 mail app or MS Outlook 2016 which has been happening since this morning.
I've tried to remove my account from outlook account settings and add it back in but to no avail 😞

I'm having the same issue as of this morning. Emails sent from other devices (my iphone, ipad) are working, but anything from my PC using the same email addresses are bounced back as failed sends.
