Hello, the onmicrosoft. com domain could easily be checked. The check of the MX parameters for the actual domain always fails with the error message:

Not sure I can help but I wanted to check if this is applicable at all, certainly worth checking out - Take over an unmanaged directory as administrator in Azure Active Directory.
