How to convert from a GoDaddy Office 365 Email Essentials account to a full M365 Business Standard?
I am currently supporting a client who is using a GoDaddy Office 365 Email Essentials account, that they purchased along with their domain registration. They now have need of the full suite of services offered with a Microsoft 365 Business Standard account. However, it's my understanding that the GoDaddy tenants are a specialized product that isn't truly a native Microsoft 365 account. Is this true? If so what would the requirements be to migrate the user's account to a full Microsoft 365 Business Standard account?
Office 365 Business Premium + GoDaddy Hosting
Hi, Does office 365 + godaddy give you office 365 app hosting? I was hoping to have a public sharepoint, delve, and yammer website connected to different subdomains e.g. http://www.mydomain.com, blog.mydomain.com, social.mydomain.com etc. What apps on office 365 are linked to godaddy hosting? Or is it just completely separate hosting that has no link to office 365 apps and just bundles email support? Also what is the discount offered to office 365 subscribers on godaddy? Ideally I would to have Windows unlimited website hosting. Thanks, Jebb
365 family subscription bug
Hello, I was using microsoft Powerpoint this morning, when my account was deactivated because “subscription expired”. I have a family 365 subscription and yet everything is in order. The license holder deleted me and remitted without success since the link works but once on my account is displayed "your subscription has expired since October 27, 2013" I even deleted my linked devices but without success. Despite my subscription being in order and the link working, I'm systematically returned to the "your subscription has expired since October 27, 2013" box, even though I'm currently under an active 365 family subscription.
Office 365 Backup
Iam Looking For: Find a backup solution for our Office 365 data such as SharePoint/OneDrive content, e-mails, calendars, contacts, notes, tasks etc. ! The harddrives of the machine definitly need to be encrypted. Not sure of synology can do that reliably (LUKS?). Synology had some security issues in the past, but they might have been only relevant if they are exposed to the internet. I think we have two options: Backup in the office on encrypted drives with very restricted access (SSH?) Encrypt backup and upload it to S3 (not sure if there's a tool for that) I'm fine with both. Is there an open source tool that can mirror Office 365 on a local machine? (Linux) is the Synology tool proprietary?
Visual interactive map to show people and their locations (and other details)
Hi all, I work for a major law firm in the US and work closely with many attorneys, from different offices. My team and I are trying to build an interactive map that will show the attorneys locations and which department they belong to. The purpose of this is well, 1. To optimize partners visits when traveling to other offices and 2. To keep a dynamic record of this information. And hoping this is something we can escalate to client level later. Has anyone worked on something similar before, if so, which apps within the 365 realm will be my best partners? I am betting on Power BI but curious to see if anyone has worked with something different. Thanks in advance.Outlook is sending duplicated mails
Hello dear Microsoft Community I've got following problem: With one of our clients there is an issue with Outlook/Mailing The mailbox is IMAP If he sends Mails to someone they'll recieve the sent message, for like 20 times. the only suspicous thing is, that we can see 3 duplicates of that mail in the 'sent' folder. but regardless it was recieved alot more than 3 times, either way. Do you have an idea ? I already updatet Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office 365 made a new profile checked for Add-Ins or antivirus applications I also looked it up on our firewall we also checked the log on the mailserver greetings and im looking forward to recieve some help from YOUOffice 365 Application Splash Screen / Start Screen
All office applications are opening with an alternate splash screen (the white one) I believe this is because the is a problem with my user's profile. I get the alternate screen when loading all office 365 applications. I have several odd things happening on the user's computer.
