Is there no other administrator account that you can use?
Do you have CSP where you buy your licenses that could provide support?
If the answers to these questions are no, you should contact Microsoft Support and get them to unblock you

Thijs Lecomte thanks for the suggestion. I used that page but then you get someone for Office for consumers instead of someone who actually knows something about Office 365. But he is getting me the contact details for the correct support department.
