Well, it would be best to uninstall the new Outlook then reinstall it by toggling the "Try New Outlook" in the mail app.

- I tried and followed your suggestion. But the issue still remains there.
- I see, try going to startmenu, locate Outlook (Preview) and right click --> settings --> scroll down and click reset.
