Outlook not updating inbox
1. Click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
2. Click the Office 365 account, and then click Change.
3. Under Offline Settings, uncheck Use Cached Exchange Mode.
4. Exit, and then restart Outlook.

Thuyavan Ganesan I have microsoft 365, and it does not have an offline settings section. There is no use exchange cached mode. But then again, I am not using exchange either.

IlDavo : File>account settings >account settings> select user account > click on change options> unselect "use cached exchange mode to download email to an outlook data file" option.
restart outlook... done.
That method worked for me.

I did this and now I can't open the PC app at all because it can no longer find the files.
- LaticsNov 04, 2021Copper ContributorNone of those fixes worked for me. After 24 hours, I realized my inbox had stopped updating after I had a large file (40Mb) undelivered. I deleted the returned email and Hey Presto! The inbox updated immediately.
