Outlook M1 Mac - Window Expansion greyed out

Hi. 

 The Microsoft Outlook in MacOS M1 does not enable me to expand the mail window ..The window is greyed out ..I am unable to expand the window and have to drag till the end...

Please find attached the screenshot.

Can I get some guidance please ?
