outlook 2016 contacts

one of my users recently requested for a laptop.

i installed outlook 2016 for her setup her O365 email but realized that her contact is missing.

there is nothing on her contacts, only GAL.

her desktop also uses outlook 2016.

do i have to export her contacts from her desktop to the laptop ??

    Hello GV IT,
    Contacts stored under mailbox so you don't have to export contact, it should show automatically once you configure outlook on new device.
    Verify contact on old machine and see same shows on new machine or not. thanks

        Hello GV IT,

        how do i make sure that contacts are saved under mailbox account?
        - To check if contact stored on server mailbox (O365), you simply configure outlook on another (existing Outlook configured keep it is) machine and see if all contacts, calendar data shows correctly or not.

        How to move contacts manually?
        When you want to move your email (locally stored on machine in .PST file) from one machine another machine, you should to copy/move your contacts under PST folder first. and then configure mailbox outlook on new machine and connect PST files to see old contacts which was save to PST file.
