Office 365 updates. Why- and how to manage them

Every day i dedicate 15 minutes to update me on the Office 365 Roadmap. Today i found that 67 updates are currently being rolled out and 234 that are in development.
Living in the present is good but not at the price of tomorrow being canceled due to lack of interest. What do you do to have (or take) control? In this post I emphasize the importance of adapting the organization as well as establishing procedures and tools that ensure effective governance.
