Office 365 and IBM Smart Cloud coexistence. Possible?
HI All,
I have a customer who wants to move from from IBM Connection Cloud S1 to Office 365 including both email and collaboration. Found article from co-existence but what about migration only without co-existence, any tools available or is the Binary Tree only supporting this. Migration can be switch over or then staged with only SMTP connection working but as said would be great if co-existence is possible to configure between two environment.
Thanks.
Petri
I am unaware of any way to co-exist between these platforms except through plain-old SMTP-based email. Features like sharing calender free/busy information, which I imagine you want, are not available. You could hack your way around some of the other problems, like inserting entries for users from the other platform in the respective directores so that they show up in address lists, but I think you will be on your own...

Thank's Tony,
It was just as I assumed and also got confirmation from Quest that they don't have even migration tool. Need to discuss with BitTitan if tthey are able to connect IBM, convert the data and migrate to Office 365 parallel to configure SMTP forwarding in IBM.
More scary if we need to migrate also files from the collab services in IBM cloud how to do that and no tools available :-)

hi Petri,
As mentioned we do @ Binary Tree support coexistence between SmartCloud and Office 365.
