Microsoft Teams

I'm rather underwhelmed by the announcement.
In looking at it on the surface why not just add chatting to Groups? Having so many different places to conduct work isn't necessarily good.
The other, is since my tenant is down on the list to get new features, I figure I won't be seeing this feature for another year or more.
I know what you mean, I am undecided, I think I'll end up liking it, though. I won't know until I can try it out, which won't happen before it can be enabled selectively or spin up a test tenant maybe.
