Affecting a single user, or multiple users?
For an affected user, check their work hours configured in Outlook:
File > Options > Calendar
For an affected user, check their work hours configured in Outlook:

Single user - we have checked File > Options > Calendar and it is not the work hours configuration
- Does the user have any additional calendars enabled in their calendar view - e.g. an overlaid calendar?
Is the greyed out time the same grey colour as that used for outside of working hours?
If the user looks on their calendar via the Outlook mobile app - is it greyed out there too?
