Microsoft 365 group expiration policy

Hi.

We have been using the expiration policy since it came out and are happy about it. But now we have a project where we want to use Microsoft Teams and those specific teams must never be deleted by the expiration policy. Since the policy do not allow exceptions, how can I keep activity in a Teams using some kind of script or other automation based on a filter string or input file.

Any ideas?
