Microsoft 365 A3 for Faculty reverts accounts back to A1 for Faculty
Hey Tech Community,
Having a strange issue here, we recently were allocated A3 licenses from our EDU Trust, all went smoothly and I can see the licenses in the admin center.
I changed the license for users from A1 to A3 for Faculty, and this changed the license for a day.
The following day the licenses for these users change back to A1 for Faculty.
Is there a setting I need to change somewhere or am I assigning liceses to users incorrectly in admin center?
Would be very greatful if you could please shed some light.

- What does the audit log show? Do you perhaps have some sort of automated process that applies licenses, which might be overwriting said changes?
