[Mac] PowerPoint does not accept decimal numbers in format pane
Hi,
I'm using PowerPoint for Mac version 16.78.3 (23102801) and I'm trying to define a new position for a shape using the formate shape functionality. Unfortunately, PowerPoint does not accept any decimal number. For example, if I change the current value to "7,5 cm" and hit enter, the number always changes to "0". It doesn't make a difference if I change the decimal separator to "." - that won't work as well.
Is there a solution for this issue?
Best,
Laurids

I've been running into the same issue and resolved it by changing the "Number format" in the MacOS settings from 1.234.567,89 to 1 234 567.89 and restarting PowerPoint. Now I can enter e.g. "1.5 pt" for line width and it works.
Seems like a bug in PowerPoint on recognizing whether the decimal separator should be a point or a comma.

That sadly did not fix the issue for me.
