limit creation of new contact groups in outlook
Hi Team;
Pls, how do I restrict end users from creating Contact Groups formerly known as Distribution Groups/Lists?
I have cleared the MyDistributionGroups check box and the MyDistributionGroupMembership check box in the Default Role Assignment Policy in Exchange Admin Center but users are still able to create DLs.

"Contact Groups" are NOT the same thing as Distribution Groups/Lists, they are a client-side feature and exist only inside the user's mailbox. Thus the settings you can configure to restrict DG creation do not apply to them.
