"License not found" after installing MS Office on my new MacMini

Try this before contacting Microsoft support:

 

1. Sign In with Microsoft Account

 

• Open any Office app (Word, Excel).
• Go to Help > Sign In.
• Use the Microsoft account associated with your Office purchase.

 

2. Clear License Files

 

• Go to ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office
• Delete the folder named Office365
• Restart your Mac and try activating again
