Issues with Office applications after latest updates
Following the latest (Office 365) updates, we encounter issues with Office applications in general and Outlook (Classic) specifically. Slow start-up that disables add-ins, app freezing, slow scrolling, ...
Tried adding RAM - even up to 40 GB ! - but no real improvement.
Only re-install of MS Office seems to have an effect in one case.
Is this a general issue caused by implementing Copilot into all those MS Office apps ?

I use office on a an M1 pro macbook and have similar issues. Excel started freezing for about 30 seconds a week or two ago, everytime I try to close a workbook. I updated in the last few days (now have the new logo) and Word has started doing the same thing sporadically. It's obviously very frustrating when you're trying to work. Any fix or advice?
I may related to many factors, would suggest to check on below:
- Switch to New Outlook: If feasible, try using the New Outlook or Outlook Web App, they’re better optimized for Copilot.
- Disable Copilot and test
- Check for Add-in Conflicts: Disable non-essential add-ins to reduce startup load.
- Monitor CPU Usage: Use Task Manager to identify spikes and isolate problematic processes.- tudorbloggerOccasional Reader
I first noticed issues with my OneDrive being incredibly slow and not syncing across devices. But today I have also noticed that I can't seem to use the Office apps on my iPhone- I can't type into either Word or Excel. Outlook seems fine for me though. But it's definitely since the latest update!
