Is there a way to automate governance in office 365?
Mihir YelamanchiliGovernance is a potentially big topic and means different things to different organizations. What does it mean to your client? Which applications and services are they using?

Dean_Gross Since it is a SharePoint Online, pretty common things like, office groups, modern sites creation/deletion, access control etc.

Mihir Yelamanchiliwhat about PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI and all of the other services? Goverance of these should be done, but it makes it much more complicated because the tools are not very good (or don't exist).
Some things to consider:
Do you want to buy something or build something?
Do you have specific regulations that you must follow?
Are you in multiple geographies?
Do you have E3 or E5?
Do you need to integrate O365 governance with Azure or other cloud governance?
Does the organization have strong change management culture?

If you tie those in with some SharePoint lists and Flow for things like site provisions requests. Using these few tools you can do a lot of what you mentioned
