Is Firewall Adaptive Profiling Effective

I'm researching some performance issues between on-premises AD using ADFS for authentication and Office 365. I don't see any issues in a brief network capture and am waiting on a Fiddler trace. The client is using Adaptive Profiling from their firewalls (don't have a manufacturer yet) which is new to me. Does anyone think I should suspect this type of firewall rule creation and look into it further or is this optimal? Thanks for any help! Tad

    Well, switching of or bypassing firewalls, proxies and other network devices is one of the basic steps when troubleshooting performance issues, so I would give it a try.
