Introducing Microsoft To-Do—now available in Preview
Today, the Office 365 Team is excited to introduce a new, intelligent task management app that makes it easy to plan and manage your day. Say hello to Microsoft To-Do—now available in Preview.
To-Do comes from the team behind the Wunderlist app, and delivers a smarter, more personal and intuitive way to help people stay organized and get the most out of every day. Powered by Office 365 integration and an intelligent algorithm, it is the first step on our journey to simplify task management and help you achieve more.

I was able to enable To-Do. It is syncing from To-Do to my tasks.
The only thing that doesn`t work for me; importing from Wunderlist.
After importing it shows the import was succesfull, the number of imported items is correct, but the tasks are not visible at the To-Do app and not in Outlook.- Polly Davidson

Hey Peter, That's strange. Can I just double-check that you signed in to the importer with the same Microsoft account? We've taken our importer down for maintenance today but it should be back later in the day. If you could try again, then let me know if you still have issues.

I see that Education organizations are currently not supported. Any timeline on when it will be available for Education?

Just curious where did you see this? I'm also in education and a current Wunderlist user and would like to start looking at To-Do.

I use an Education tenancy too and work with a lot of customers in education.
"To-Do Preview is currently available to users with valid licenses for Business Essentials, Business Premium, Enterprise E1, Enterprise E3 and Enterprise E5. Please note this release does not currently include Educational organizations nor tenants on sovereign/independent clouds such as Office 365 DE. If users without a license for any of these Office suites log in to Microsoft To-Do Preview, they will receive an error explaining this requirement and be logged out by the app. In the future we will support user-level licensing for To-Do licenses specifically. Microsoft, maybe it`s a good idea next time by rolling out a new feature, your customers are able to turn it on ;)

Love to here that you want to migrate Wunderlist task solution into O365!
Enabling it in our tenant: Switche turn off again after turning it to yes and saving.
At my iPhone I could do sign-in with my private account and later with my business one even though the switch was not set to On.
At my iPad it did not work to sign-in at all.

When this will be available in Office 365 tenant?
- Stephan SwinfordIron Contributor
The toggle showed up in my tenant today under "Services & add-ins", but I still can't turn it on. Switch it to "On", Save, and when I click back into it the toggle is back to "Off".
- Alex MelchingIron ContributorI have the same issue on several Office 365 tenants.
- Thomas SøndergaardCopper ContributorI have the same problem. I really, really want to start using this...
@maddie: Do you know when this will be fixed?

It seems the announcement was potentially premature as the service isn't working as advertised yet, even though it's in preview form:

Hi Loryan Strant, NunoAriasSilva - per the conversations in the comment section of the official Office Blog announcement, it sounds like the team is in the process of rolling it out and it’s taking a little longer than expected. I would refer to the blog post for an official answer.
Hi Maddie_Egan. The To-do Preview is now available in the Services and add-ins module of the Admin Center.
However, after turning it on it and saving the settings, I open it again and it's set to Off.
Is anyone else experiencing the same?
Hi Maddie,
Do you know when it will be available to Office 365 Tenants ?
- Polly Davidson
Microsoft
Hey Nuno, it is available now to supported O365 Tenants. If you can't see it in your Admin Center then let me know which O365 Tenant you're on and I can see whether it's supported or not.
Will there be a dedicated space for Microsoft To-Do discussions?
- Polly Davidson
Microsoft
Hey Cian, we're in discussions about that. We'll let you know! How are you finding the app so far? - Maddie_EganFormer Employee
Cian Allner - thanks for the suggestion! For now, discussions surrounding Microsoft To-Do can happen in the Office 365 community.
