I need some help with some inbox rules that are not working
Hello,
I have set a very simple rule so that any messages coming from a specific mail are moved from Junk to a custom folder. However, it doesn't apply in all cases, the scenario is the following:
We have a group at Office 365 (let's call it group@mail.com), we use this group in our website as the contact email and also to get some automated confirmation mails when someone makes a purchase. The latter goes straight into the Junk box regardless of the rule.
So if I were to email group@mail.com that message will make it into the custom folder because of the rule in place, but this one fails to work with the automated messages? I wonder why, because the rule is pretty much straight forward. Here a similar example:
Am I missing something?
Thank you very much,
Ion
Inbox rules only act on messages hitting the Inbox folder, as the name suggests. If the said notification is important and you are sure about the sender, you can whitelist it to prevent it hitting the Junk folder.
