Exchange Archive and Mac OS Mail client
Hi,
We have deployed Office 365 Premium for evaluation before we switch our provider. Now, we managed to set up users, we migrated our mailboxes and everything is almost ready for switch over.
There is one issue however - as my inbox became very large, I have applied Archive solution on Exchange with retention policy to move older than two years messages to Archive and delete them from inbox. It works, but I cannot see archive mailboxes under Mac OS Mail client. They are visible on Outlook, OWA, but not on Mac, iPad or iPhone.
Anybody knows how to overcome that?

- I see. So, I will need to disable e-mail Archive. One question - how should I move archival e-mails back to inbox?
Hi Krzysztof,
You will need to do the following:
- Set the retention Policy of the mailbox to: No Policy and wait 30 minutes
- Move your Data from the Archive to the Mailbox
- Disable the Archive
Moving a large quantity of email back to the mailbox is not a happy thing to do, unless you want to drink a lot of coffee while you watch OWA or Outlook copy the items.
