Excel Macro files crash when Saving on Mac

When trying to save my macro files I get prompted with the error message "microsoft error reporting." I'm able to save other non-macro excel files just fine it's only when saving the macro files. I've removed office from my computer and re-installed and it fixed the solution, however when I restarted the computer the problem arose again.
