Entering and saving a contact in Office 365 Outlook

I just entered and saved three contacts from the business cards I received past week. I disposed off the the business cards. To my surprise, the contacts are not saved! I have more than 2,000 contacts in my Outlook. Is there any limit to the number of contacts that could be saved in the MS Office 365? What could be the reason why I am not seeing these contacts in my Outlook when I saved them?

    1. Limit is 1 million . refer here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/exchange-online-service-description/exchange-online-limits#mailbox-folder-limits-across-office-365-options

    2. Try opening Outlook in Exchange Online mode - and then save the contacts again , wait for 10-15 minutes. The back to cache mode and see if it reflects in Outlook. Also check in OWA for comparison if it is only specific to Outlook or OWA as well.

    Cheers !!
