Emails stuck in Outbox - again

I had messages getting stuck in my outbox and sitting there indefinitely without sending, and was able to fix it by going to:
File | Account Settings | Account Settings... | Repair...
Might not work in most cases, but I thought it would be worth giving a shot before trying more complex fixes. I was surprised when it resolved my problem.
