It's Microsoft's replacement for CRM Online with expanded capabilities like integrated ERP.  There is an ongoing discussion about this icon appearing unexpectedly in Change Alerts.  This has some http://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-readies-combined-crm-erp-dynamics-365-cloud-bundle/ on what Dynamics 365 is.

    Well, we don't use Dynamics CRM so not sure why it is showing up.

      Not agree....Dynamics 365 is much more than a replacement of CRM Online...is just several apps, services and products under the same umbrella...CRM Online is just one of the services / apps behind the scenes

        Absolutely, I was being rather simplistic.  It is a lot more than that, as you have pointed out.

         

        It could have explained though why someone had a CRM icon one day and a Dynamics 365 icon the next.  In this case, it just sounds like a bug.

         

        Michelle Porreca you might want to log this with MS support if you haven't already.  It would be worth double checking you have no licence assignment that inadvertently might be related to this. If not, you definitely shouldn't be getting a Dynamics 365 icon.
