Deleted users OneDrive
Hi,
I have a OneDrive for a deleted user that is still showing in my reports as using up to 60GB of space. Is there anyway i can access this users one drive to either export it or just delete it as i need to recover the used space and completely remove reference to that user. The retention period is set at 30 days but as i said it still shows in my reports, so i am assuming the data is still there. Thanks.

You may consider below:
-
Access OneDrive:
- Click on the deleted user’s name
- In the user details pane, click on OneDrive
- You should see an option to Access files. Click on it to open the user’s OneDrive
-
Export or Delete Files:
- Once you have access, you can either download the files to your local storage or another location
- If you want to delete the files, you can select all files and delete them to free up space
-
Permanently Remove the User:
- After managing the OneDrive data, you can permanently delete the user from the Deleted users section to ensure no references remain

Hi Kidd_Ip
Thanks for the answer, but my problem is the user was deleted a couple of months ago and he does not appear in the deleted users so i cant click on him to create a link to the one drive files.

- Check the status of the corresponding site collection via PowerShell, if it's still around you can add yourself as secondary SC admin and access it directly in the browser to make any changes necessary. You might have to use Get-SPODeletedSite/Restore-SPODeletedSite depending on the status.
