DELETED Office 365 Account - or is it?
We have one user with the following in his Account Name in his User Profile (via SharePoint Admin):
i:0#.f|membership|USERNAME@(companyname.URL)-DELETED-8D30890A-52C2-446C-856B-187768E7400F
His Active Directory (AD) account is all correct and he can access Office 365. However, he is having a number of issues with accessing various parts of Office 365 which we think is caused by the 'DELETED' tag. For example his profile comes up with an error.
We receive a daily email message about this problem: 'You're getting this message because there's activity in your Office 365 organization that matches the alert 'Office 365 licence allocated'.', pointing to an event on 10 January 2018.
We *believe* this has been caused when the user's licences were all removed, the profile saved, and then new licences allocated. As I understand it, this causes the user account to be deactivated.
Can anyone confirm this, and ideas for fixing it?
Thanks

This looks like some issue with the forward sync process between Azure AD and SPO. We as admins have a very limited access to troubleshoot such issues, best open a support case to get this properly investigated.
