Connect Existing Office 365 Groups with a Microsoft Team
Hi,
I tried to follow this guide : https://www.petri.com/connect-existing-office-365-groups-microsoft-team but I do not have the option to "Add Microsoft Teams to an existing Office 365 group" when I try to create a new Teams.
How can I create this link ?
Thanks,
Antoine

Do you have permission to create new Teams? are you in the Owner role of the groups? here are the official instructions from MS, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/enhance-office-365-groups
- As suggested by Dean, you need to be owner of the Group to have the possibility to add a team to the Group. Bear also in mind that if this Group was created from Yammer (aka Yammer Connected Group), you cannot create a Team

I am the owner of the group :
And here how the create Teams looks like :
As you can see there is no link to connect to an existing group !
PS : Sorry for the french screenshots...

That is another reason. I assume you have tried creating a regular team with a brand new group.
If that works, I would create a ticket with MSFT

Thank you Jethro SEGHERS . I have been trying to access the Teams channel for one of the SharePoint sites which was recently migrated. When I click on the Teams icon it just displays "We are still setting up your teams. Please try again later" . I added a New Teams from the teams Desktop and connected to an existing group. And it Worked!
