Can no longer paste values when copying from another source to Excel for IPad

Since the update to Excel last July 12, 2020 I can no longer paste values only from another source such as email or Safari without getting all the other data such as pictures and other content when I only want text. Either just paste text like it did before or add the choice of Paste Special to allow for values only! It’s very annoying to get all that added data! Please fix this!
