Autopilot blocks M365 app deployment to M365 Business Premium users and devices!?

According to this Install Microsoft 365 apps on all devices in Microsoft 365 Business Premium - Microsoft 365 Business Premium | Microsoft Learn, users are expected to install M365 apps on their own, which already sucks, tbh.

 

But here's the catch: When you Autopilot new devices to an M365 BP tenant with users as users (and not admins like legacy OOBE does), you can't run OfficeSetup.exe in order to install - It requires admin privileges to run.

 

Anyone know how to bypass or fix this?

 

Anyone at Microsoft 365 thought this through or have a suggestion?
