app@sharepoint account accessing files in office 365
hello everyone,
I have seen couple of thread on app@sharepoint account accessing delve or O365 and I am not clear about the resolution. Recently we saw log that a SharePoint file is being accessed by app@sharepoint account and we worried who accessed the information. DO anyone has exact answer why this account is showing up in SHarePoint recently? And through SHarePoint audit logs I can see that couple of files are accessed by this account.
Yes, we're also seeing such entries, and no, we don't have any clear information as to what exactly they correspond to. It's background tasks such as content indexing or DLP processing, other workflows...
