Advice required on opening excel files on teams.

Question

Hi&nbsp;Ive worked out that if I have the teams app in my pc&nbsp; I can open excel files using the desktop app.&nbsp;When I log into office 365 and open the teams app it only gives me the option to automatically open in teams or browser.&nbsp; Is there any way that I can get it to automatically open on the desktop app?&nbsp;Thanks
